The company is spending 100 million baht to open 25 new Jaymart shops this year to extend its handset distribution network coverage in big provinces. Mr Narathip said the 100-million-baht budget will be used to open 15 Jaymart shops plus another 10 JayCamera shops, which are especially designed for selling camera products. The local smartphone market saw a 5% increase in the first quarter of this year. This warranty campaign is also being offered to Singer customers who buy phones from its 13,000 hire-purchase agents through 181 branches. Mr Narathip said Singer customers mainly buy high-end smartphones priced over 16,000 baht each.
